The Humane Society of Bergen County, founded in 1972, is a non-profit, no-kill, 501(c)(3) organization located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. We are dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals. Our goal is to prevent animal cruelty, provide assistance to those who cannot afford to spay/neuter their pets, and to find loving homes for those animals who are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or mistreated.
