Can dogs eat alcohol? And cats?

Alcohol depresses the nervous system of dogs and cats at doses that seem trivially small to people, and their small body size gives them no buffer. Unbaked yeast dough is a hidden source: the yeast produces alcohol in the stomach. Keep drinks, desserts made with liquor, and rising dough out of reach.

- Stumbling
- Vomiting
- Slowed breathing
- Low body temperature
- Collapse
