Foxglove is where the heart medication digitalis originally came from, and eating the plant delivers an uncontrolled dose. Both the garden plant and cut flowers are dangerous, including the water they stand in. Immediate veterinary care is essential.

- Abnormal heart rhythm
- Weakness
- Collapse
