Is tulip toxic to dogs or cats?
Leaves and petals are mild; the bulb is the dangerous part.
Same pattern for cats: worst in the bulb.
Tulips concentrate their irritant compounds in the bulb, so a chewed petal usually means drooling and mild stomach upset while a dug-up bulb feast is a vet call. Watch dogs in fall when bulbs go into the ground. Store unplanted bulbs out of reach.
