Blueberries are safe for both dogs and cats and conveniently treat-sized as they come. Fresh or frozen both work; frozen ones double as a summer snack. As with any fruit, they are extras on top of a complete diet, so keep portions to a small handful for a big dog and a few berries for small pets.
