Cooked eggs (scrambled plain, boiled, no butter or seasoning) are a high-quality protein treat for dogs and cats. Feed them cooked: raw eggs carry salmonella risk for the pet and the household, and raw egg whites contain avidin, which blocks biotin absorption if fed regularly.
