Cooked, peeled shrimp is safe in small amounts for both dogs and cats and cats famously love it. Serve it plain: garlic butter and fried coatings undo the treat. Shells and tails are choking hazards and can irritate the gut, and raw shellfish carries avoidable bacterial risk.
