Is daffodil toxic to dogs or cats?
Also known as: Narcissus, jonquil
The bulb is the worst part, and dogs dig bulbs.
All parts are toxic to cats too.
Daffodils contain lycorine and irritant crystals, concentrated in the bulb; a dog that digs up and eats bulbs can develop heart rhythm problems on top of heavy vomiting. Cut daffodils and their vase water count too. Plant them where nobody digs.

- Vomiting
- Drooling
- Diarrhea
- Low blood pressure and arrhythmia with bulbs
