Is dracaena toxic to dogs or cats?
Also known as: Corn plant, lucky bamboo, dragon tree
Saponins: vomiting, sometimes with blood, drooling.
Cats also get dilated pupils and wobbliness.
The whole dracaena family, including the 'lucky bamboo' sold in offices everywhere, contains saponins that reliably upset pet stomachs. Cats show it more dramatically than dogs. Signs usually pass, but persistent vomiting deserves a call.

- Drooling
- Loss of appetite
- Dilated pupils in cats
